Man Found Dead in Parking Lot of Elementary School in Millville, NJ
Authorities in Millville say a man was found dead inside a vehicle in an elementary school parking lot early Monday morning.
According to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office, officers with the Millville Police Department responded to Rieck Avenue Elementary School in the 300 block of Rieck Avenue at around 5 AM for a report of an unresponsive man in a vehicle.
Officials at the scene located 20-year-old Mark Hoffman of Millville dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public at this time.
The discovery was made before students arrived at the school. Following a two-hour delayed opening, Rieck Avenue Elementary School students attended Lakeside Middle School for the day.
