My Experience with Atlantic City, NJ AtlantiCare Area Hospitals

We are so very fortunate to have AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, with two hospitals, various urgent care centers and many more (diverse) patient care services available in the Atlantic City, Galloway Township areas and beyond.

It is my opinion, based upon a wide spectrum of observation that the talent of the AtlantiCare organization is of the highest caliber.

I have written previously about how AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center saved my Brother Jay’s life.

Words like this are way overused these days … however, they fit perfectly regarding the complicated life-saving, major surgery that Jay received last year.

I will be experiencing AtlantiCare’s services today, as a result of a procedure that I had performed locally about 8 years ago … not at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.

It was a benign item that had caused me significant pain and had to be removed. It didn’t go well. Over the past 8 years, the previous issue has returned. I’m right back where I was in 2016.

I have chosen AtlantiCare to handle things this time.

Every step of the way, AtlantiCare has been simply outstanding.

All pre-registration issues, scheduling, etc. have been handled perfectly. The blood work, patient instructions and consults prior to the procedure with Dr. Robert Perez have inspired confidence.

Dr. Perez is an amazing physician/surgeon.

This morning, Thursday, March 28, 2024 is my procedure with Dr. Perez.

I will be leaving for AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in about 20 minutes as I write my “pre-game” thoughts here.

I am so grateful for Michael Charlton, Frank Carpenter, Debbie (AtlantiCare’s Scheduling Director - she is fabulous) and all of the many staff members that I have come in direct contact with.

We are blessed to live in a community where we have world class health care available right here in our own backyard.
