Almost 100 bags of heroin were seized Friday morning in Pleasantville in a raid conducted by two local police departments.

Following a month-long investigation, around 11:00 Friday morning, members of the Atlantic City Police Department SWAT Team along with the Pleasantville Police Department executed a search warrant in the 200 Block of Ridgewood Avenue in Pleasantville. According to a press release, 93 bags of heroin were recovered along with numerous items used in the packaging of illegal narcotics.

As a result of the raid, 20-year-old Taj Berry-Ford of Pleasantville was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS Heroin and Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute. Berry-Ford was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $30,000 bail.
