13-Year-Old Arrested for Threatening a Hamilton Township School

A 13-year-old is in trouble with the law for posting threats online against a school in Hamilton Township.

Hamilton Township Police say they received reports of threats against the William Davies Middle School on October 3rd. The threats were made on Instagram and similar to the recent "clown threats" that have been happening recently.

Following an investigation, police arrested a 13-year-old from Mays Landing, who was charged with 3rd degree terroristic threats and 3rd degree causing false public alarm. The juvenile was released to his parents pending a juvenile court appearance.
