21-year-old Philadelphia Man Shot in Atlantic City

A man from Philadelphia is recovering after cops say he was shot in Atlantic City Tuesday afternoon.

Atlantic City Police say their officers responded to the 1500 block of Sewell Avenue just before 3:30PM Tuesday after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.

Officers were directed to a nearby home where they found a shooting victim. The man, identified as being 21-year-old from Philadelphia, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment of a non-life threatening injury, according to police.
