4 Injured in Rollover Crash in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ

Four people, all 18 years old or younger, were injured in a crash in Egg Harbor Township Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 2:30 at Zion and Somers Point-Mays Landing Roads.

According to the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, their officers arrived to find a car overturned with four people inside.

Police say,

A 2004 Nissan Sentra driven by Nikki Scirotto (18) from Mt. Ephraim, was traveling south on Zion Road and failed to negotiate a right turn onto Somers Point Mays Landing Road. The vehicle struck the guardrail causing the vehicle to overturn several times.

The vehicle was also occupied by three juveniles, one unrestrained, according to officials.

All four people were transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.

Police say motor vehicle summonses are pending.
