A.C. Rail Line Train Hits Car, Killing One Person and Injuring Another
One person has been killed and another injured after a New Jersey Transit train hit a car in Hammonton Friday afternoon.
NJ.com reports the accident happened around 4:30 when an Atlantic City Rail Line train headed towards Atlantic City hit a car while it was crossing the tracks at Line Street.
One person in the car was killed and another was airlifted to a local hospital. Officials did not have information on the occupants of the car.
Rail service was suspended Egg Harbor City and Atco; bus service was being provided to riders.
