NEWARK — New Jersey Devils fans have no issues standing or singing the National Anthem.

The young woman who sang the national anthem at Friday night's game at the Prudential Center in Newark got some help from the crowd to finish the job.

Standing next to a State Police honor guard, she started strong.  But as she got to the song's second verse, she stopped singing and tried to start again. The crowd immediately jumped in and finished the job.

NorthJersey.com identified the singer as Lauralie Mufute of Jersey City. It was her second time performing the song, according to a video posted by Next Step Broadway.

The Devils lost the game to the San Jose Sharks, 3-0.

Neither the team nor the NHL have returned a message.
