
Alleged Electricity Theft Leads to Major Marijuana Bust in EHT
Four people in Egg Harbor Township are facing a long list of charges after they were busted for a operating an alleged marijuana production facility at their house.
EHT Police say it all started Tuesday morning when they received word from Atlantic City Electric that a home in the 300 block of Glenn Avenue was stealing electric. Responding officers on the scene detected a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from the house. Further investigation and an eventual search revealed the home was a suspected marijuana production facility.
Cops say inside they found $2700 in cash, a defaced gun, a large amount of drug paraphernalia, and approximately 20 pounds of marijuana in various forms.
Those arrested, and facing various charges, include 40-year-old Daemen Reese, 46-year-old Nicole Taurino-Reese, 26-year-old Breanne Coccoules, and 21-year-old Brandon Reese, all of EHT. All four were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
