According to a press release, the program will operate from July 10th through August 18th and is open to Atlantic City residents between the ages of 14 and 17. Students attending summer school are not eligible.

The Summer Youth Program creates opportunities for Atlantic City youth by installing job skills and it gives them access to a professional network so teens can have a better chance to gain meaningful employment later in life.

Applications are available with the Division of Recreation thru Tuesday, May 23rd and the deadline to apply is May 26th. Forms can be picked-up in Suite 502 on the fifth floor of City Hall at 1301 Bacharach Boulevard. A lottery system will determine the sixty students chosen.
