Cops in Atlantic City say a man, whose last name happens to be Outlaw, was arrested Tuesday after a search warrant was executed in the city.

The Atlantic City Police Department says members of their Tactical Operations Unit and Special Investigations Section conducted a residential search warrant in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue on Tuesday.

The target of the investigation, 43-year-old Tyron Outlaw of Atlantic City, was located outside of his home and taken into custody without incident.

Police say during their search, 341 bags of heroin and 22 grams of cocaine were found.

Outlaw has been charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession with intent to distribute CDS, and possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public zone.

He was released on a summons with a future court date.

Anyone with information about the distribution of drugs in the city is urged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department Special Investigations Section at (609) 347-5858. Information can also be sent anonymously via text message to tip411 (847411). Begin the text with "ACPD."
