BREAKING NEWS EXCLUSIVE

Former Atlantic City, New Jersey Council President Craig Callaway drew a very unlucky federal sentencing judge today.

Callaway received the maximum 24 months in federal prison today, along with other kickers for various election fraud activities.

The Craig Callaway Prison Sentence

  • 24-month prison sentence, which Callaway is required to serve a minimum of 85 percent.
  • $ 5,500 fine.
  • 300 hours of community service following serving his prison sentence.
  • 3 years of supervised probation.
  • Between now and serving his prison sentence and 3 years of supervised probation … Callaway will not be permitted to have possession of any computers or digital devices … on his person and in his home.
  • Not permitted to work on political campaigns.
  • Callaway will report to federal prison in 90 days.

Federal Sentencing Judge

Renée Marie Bumb, the chief federal judge in the state of New Jersey.

Callaway told me right after his sentencing that Judge Bumb “was angry and knew that I worked for Republican candidates,” said Callaway. “The Judge gave me the maximum prison sentence and said that she wished that she could give me more prison time,”said Callaway.

Bad Timing For Callaway

Judge Bumb had just removed New Jersey Acting United States Attorney, Alina Habba and replaced her with Desiree Leigh Grace.

United States Attorney General Pam Bondi immediately moved to fire Grace.

Bondi blasted the federal judges as "politically minded.”

Bondi wrote on her X platform that Habba had been "doing a great job making NJ safe again" but, "politically minded judges refused to allow her to continue in her position."

Callaway Was Planning To Move To North Carolina

Callaway told me that “it’s too hot and toxic to remain here.”

Judge Bumb advised Callaway that the 300 hours of community service and the ban of possessing any digital devices will follow him to North Carolina.

Callaway Fought For Lesser Sentence

Callaway had hoped for probation or house arrest.

The federal government recommended a sentence of 18-24 months.

Instead, he received the absolute maximum sentence allowed by law, from a judge who wished that she could have given him even more prison time.

Callaway drew the wrong judge, at the wrong time.
