Atlantic City High School Cancels Remaining Basketball Games

Out of an abundance of caution, Atlantic City High School has canceled the remaining boys and girls basketball games for the 2021 season.

Chris Ford, Jr., the Atlantic City High School Director of Athletics has confirmed the news after consultation with Superintendent Barry Caldwell, the boys and girls head coaches and other key working partners.

Here is a copy of the memorandum that has been sent to the Atlantic City Public Schools District, which confirms the well thought out decision as follows:

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.
