An Atlantic City man has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of a man in the city last month.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says 23-year-old Shamal Harvey has been charged with with first degree murder, second degree unlawful possession of a handgun, and second degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Authorities responded to the 1000 block of North Michigan Avenue in Atlantic City around 6PM May 14th. Arriving officers found 25-year-old Alexsander Campbell of Atlantic City had been shot; he was taken to ARMC-City where he died.

The Press of Atlantic City reports Campbell was acquitted last year on murder charges in connection to a shooting death in 2014 where 22-year-old Kenneth Sandoz of Absecon was killed.
