Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small
Small believes that Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds sought to indict him to further his own career advancement.
Small stated after prevailing versus Reynolds at trial that it was Reynolds who pushed child abuse charges against him to try and become New Jersey's next Attorney General.
Reynolds Sought & Achieved Indictments

Reynolds succeeded in having both Marty and La’Quetta Small indicted on various charges, including child endangerment, aggravated assault, and even witness tampering alleged against Marty Small.
The Smalls’ good friend Constance Days-Chapman was also indicted.
Marty Small Trial Was First
The Marty Smal defense team of Ed Jacobs, Lou Barbone and Jordan Barbone mopped-up the floor with Reynolds.
Reynolds case against Marty Small spectacularly collapsed and Small won an overwhelming unanimous jury acquittal.
Following Marty Smalls’ acquittal, Reynolds moved to dismiss all criminal charges versus La’Quetta Small and Days-Chapman.
Marty Small Responds
Small has filed a significant lawsuit versus Reynolds and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office for malicious prosecution and civil rights violations.
In part, Small is seeking to demonstrate that Reynolds prosecuted Small to try and become New Jersey’s next Attorney General following the 2025 General Election.
