Atlantic City Mayor & Wife are Running Employment Agency [Opinion]

Between Marty and La’Quetta Small, they control budgets totaling more than $ 500 million per-year in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Marty is Mayor of Atlantic City.

La’Quetta is the Superintendent of Atlantic City Public Schools.

Both Marty and La’Quetta are facing serious criminal indictments regarding various child abuse charges. Marty also got himself indicted a second time in the same criminal case, for alleged witness tampering.

It’s like a bad, made for television movie … only it’s very much happening in real life.

You almost have to admire the way Marty and La’Quetta go on like nothing’s happened.

La’Quetta has so much control over a very weak Atlantic City board of education … that the board never met, nor, have they ever addressed that their superintendent is facing child abuse charges.

The board of education simply ignored that the indictment occurred and they have never taken appropriate action to suspend the superintendent, pending disposition of the criminal case.

Marty and La’Quetta Small control countless taxpayer-paid public jobs that in many cases pay very well … in addition to the best medical health benefits to be found anywhere.

For example, a former Atlantic City Councilman, Bruce Weekes, Jr. recently resigned his elected position. This allowed Small to lead the process to appoint a replacement of his choice … someone who is fiercely loyal to him.

Weekes then received a full-time City of Atlantic City position from Marty Small.

A Marty Small running mate may be hired by the Atlantic City Board of Education tonight.

Marty and La’Quetta Small are doing all of this right under the “nose” of the state of New Jersey … who are supposed to be watching and monitoring activities such as this.

This is Marty and La’Quetta Small operating while under serious criminal indictments.

Just imagine what will follow in the future if they are exonerated at trial later this spring/summer?
