Atlantic City, NJ, Man Convicted For Threatening, Stalking Former Municipal Court Judge
An Atlantic City man has been convicted for threatening and stalking a municipal court judge.
On Thursday after a three-day trial, a jury convicted 59-year-old Nathaniel Russell on two counts of second-degree terroristic threats, one count of fourth-degree stalking, one count of fourth-degree retaliation for past official action, and one count of fourth-degree harassment.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says between August 2021 and April 2022, Russell left violent and threatening messages for former Egg Harbor Township Municipal Court Judge Marc Nehmad and stalked him for more than eight months.
Russell was arrested in 2021 after threats were first made and then he continued his tirade of calls, according to officials.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 7th.
