Atlantic City, NJ, Music Concerts Will Return: Here’s What We know
We interviewed Gary Musich (on-air, WPG Talk Radio) about both the Atlantic City Airshow and live music concerts that had been sorely missing in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
These two critical missing pieces have played into a perception that Atlantic City is headed in the wrong direction … which is not true.
Atlantic City is in the midst of yet another great comeback story. And, not a moment too soon … with competition from New York City casino gaming right around the corner.
Musich is the President and CEO of Visit Atlantic City. They are the marketing arm of Atlantic City and are responsible to bring conventions, meetings and now special events to Atlantic City.
In a previous article, we confirmed that the Atlantic City Airshow will return after a one year absence. It will be a smaller, mostly civilian airshow according to Musich. It is set for July 15 & 16, 2025.
The goal is for it to grow in the future. Musich also envisions an expanded, multi-faceted festival atmosphere, consisting of many other events to surround the airshow week.
Also returning will be much-welcomed concerts that Musich was not ready to announce any specifics … that is all being decided at this time, i.e., how many concerts and what performers, etc.
We did confirm that they will be indoor concerts in the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall.
They will not be outdoor concerts, which have been very popular in recent years on the beach in Atlantic City.
Musich did not confirm the timing of these indoor concerts, but, he did indicate that an announcement will take place in the bear future.
With the Atlantic City Airshow and indoor concerts soon to be a reality … good is on a roll in Atlantic City once again.
All of this is made possible by $ 850,000 from the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.
