A cooperative investigation has led to the arrest of one individual and the recovery of guns and drugs.

Detectives of the Special Investigations Section and the Liberty Mid-Atlantic DEA and the Atlantic County HIDTA Task Force executed a search warrant on south Bellevue Avenue of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Atlantic City SWAT Team directly assisted in this operation.

There have been many complaints about narcotics in this area.

The court approved search warrant took place on November 15, 2023, following a one month investigation.

Detectives recovered two loaded hand-guns, along with distribution amounts of cocaine and heroin, and the drug paraphernalia that is used in the distribution of narcotics.

The case was led by Atlantic City Police Department Detective Will Herrerias who is currently assigned to the HIDTA Task Force.

ARRESTED:

Altyriek Warren, 34, of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

CHARGES:

  • Unlawful possession of a weapon (two counts).
  • certain person not to possess a weapon (two counts).
  • possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense.
  • possession of CDS (two counts).
  • possession of CDS with intent to distribute (two counts).
  • possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone (two counts).
  • possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Warren is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
