In one day, November 21, 2024, in separate  incidents - involving a total of five police officers - the Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Department has recovered three stolen cars.

At 11:20 a.m., Officers Thomas Gilardi and Tyler Daily learned that a stolen vehicle was located on North Sovereign Avenue.

They located two people in the stolen car and they took Jy'heem Benjamin-Hannah and a 16-year old male into custody.

Benjamin-Hannah had a small amount of heroin in his possession and provided false information to the Atlantic City Police.

At 5:15 p.m, officer Keith Jordan stopped a vehicle that he had recognized was stolen previously.

Finally, on this same day at 6:30 p.m. Officers Kyle Bender and William Harned located yet another stolen vehicle.

This car had been stolen earlier in the day. Officers Bender and Harned arrested Floyd Mitchell, who was driving the stolen vehicle.

The Atlantic City Police Department has released the following information regarding various charges and arrests as follows:

ARRESTED: Jy'heem Benjamin-Hannah, 20, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Receiving stolen property, possession of CDS, and hindering apprehension.

ARRESTED: A 16-year-old male from Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Receiving stolen property.

ARRESTED: Nadiyah Wyatt, 30, of Atlantic City.

CHARGES: Receiving stolen property.

ARRESTED: Floyd Mitchell, 40, of Essex, MD.

CHARGES: Receiving stolen property.

All of the arrested have been released and that have future court dates pending.
