A 2nd Alarm Fire is currently underway in Atlantic  City, New Jersey in the 6:00 p.m. hour on Friday, August 8, 2015.

NOTE: The Atlantic City fire ultimately became a 3 Alarm fire.

The Old New Jersey Avenue Is On Fire

The long ago closed school is the current scene of a massive structure fire.

Are battling the blaze at this hour (6:00 p.m. hour).

Devlin has advised that the old New Jersey Avenue School was slated for demolition. It will be a more unstable structure that must be demolished.

Devlin believes that this will add substantially to the overall demolition costs

The old New Jersey Avenue School is now a massive structure fire this hour. A large, billowing, thick, black cloud of smoke is pouring from the structure fire.
