Certain towns along the Jersey Shore have begun to close their beaches and boardwalks due to the concerns of the coronavirus.

Boardwalks in Spring Lake and Point Pleasant are off limits, and the beach in Seaside Heights is now officially closed, as reported by NJ.com.

City officials in Atlantic City have no plans to close the beach or the world-famous boardwalk, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

The mayor says the beach and the boardwalk both provide relief for residents, though people should still practice social distancing.
