Atlantic County, NJ, Republicans Endorse Candidate for Governor

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, The Atlantic County Republicans formally endorsed a candidate for Governor of New Jersey … as well as their entire state and county slate.

The annual Republican event was held at the beautiful Carriage House venue, in Galloway Township.

It is a coveted endorsement, which brings much organizational support with it.

Jack Ciattarelli has worked for and supported candidates in Atlantic County, New Jersey for more than a decade … so, it came as no surprise that Ciattarelli was enthusiastically endorsed for Governor.

This makes Ciattarelli the official Regular Republican candidate in Atlantic County.

For the first time in modern history, no other candidate for Governor (other than Ciattarelli) attended the Atlantic County Republican Convention.

All of Ciatterelli’s opponents knew that he would receive the formal endorsement of The Atlantic County Republican Party … however, it is still inexplicable that none of the other Gubernatorial candidates attended.

The Atlantic County Republican Convention was packed with party faithful. It is a missed opportunity for those other candidates; Bill Spadea, State Senator Jon Bramnick, former State Senator Ed Durr, etc., who could have pressed the flesh and gotten to know hundreds of the hardest-working, best connected Republicans in Atlantic County.

Even though the other challengers weren’t going to win this time, it would have planted political seeds which can grow healthy fortunes in the future.
