Atlantic County, NJ, Sheriff’s Versus Attempted Cop Killer
The Atlantic County, New Jersey Sheriff’s Department has taken a firm stand in the issue of a clemency request that has been filed for a convicted, attempted cop killer.
ATLANTIC COUNTY PROSECUTOR TAKES HIS STAND, TOO
The Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds took a firm stand (last night) against Christopher Blank being granted clemency from his attempt to kill multiple police officers.
ATLANTIC COUNTY SHERIFF JOE O’DONOGHUE SAYS NO!
Atlantic County Sheriff Joseph O'Donoghue very firmly opposes any consideration of clemency for convicted felon Christopher Blank. His actions in disarming an Egg Harbor Township Police Officer, shooting her three times with her own weapon, then shooting a second Officer (who was only saved by his ballistic vest) and finally attempting to shoot a third Officer in the head-demonstrate a complete and unforgivable disregard for human life and the safety of our law enforcement officers. His heinous acts leave no room at all for leniency. "As the chief elected law enforcement official in Atlantic County, I am asking my fellow law enforcement executives and officers to join me in advocating to keep this dangerous criminal behind bars to serve out his full sentence. We must demand that anyone who injures or kills a police officer receive harsh sentences and serve it out 100% of it". Our voices should be completely unified to support all law enforcement officers who are injured or killed in the line of duty!
HERE IS CONVICTED, ATTEMPTED COP KILLER, CHRISTOPHER BLANK
The Atlantic County Prosecutor and Sheriff are firmly against the clemency application submitted by Christopher Blank, who was convicted of the attempted murder of multiple law enforcement officers.
