Attempted Armed Robbery at Mays Landing CVS

There was an attempted armed robbery Saturday afternoon at the CVS in Mays Landing.

According to the Hamilton Township Police Department, just before 1:00 Saturday afternoon, police responded to the CVS on Harding Highway in Mays Landing for an attempted armed robbery. The suspect is described as a white male, about six feet tall, 200 pounds, with red hair and freckles, a red/brown goatee, in his early 40’s, wearing a green jacket. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded cash. He was last seen walking west towards Route 50.

Update:  the suspect was arrested Saturday night.
