Bad News for Atlantic City, NJ, Mayor Regarding his Indictments
On Monday, February 24, 2025, New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury, Jr. announced his ruling regarding Constance Days-Chapman.
It is inconceivable that this is not a precursor to what Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and his wife, La’Quetta Small should expect next month during their hearing before Judge DeLury.
Days-Chapman wanted DeLury to quash Search Warrants that had been conducted by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Additionally, Days-Chapman wanted DeLury to suppress electronic evidence that was obtained by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
DeLury denied both requests.
Directly below, here is a copy of DeLury’s order regarding Days-Chapman:
Marty and La’Quetta Small have an upcoming Friday, March 14, 2025 hearing before Judge DeLury to consider their almost identical set of challenges as Days-Chapman has just failed to achieve.
Like Days-Chapman had hoped … The Smalls’ last, best chance to prevail is to have Search Warrants and massive amounts of incriminating electronic evidence suppressed.
Much of the evidence regarding Days-Chapman, is nearly identical to what Marty and La’Quetta Small face.
When Judge DeLury ruled against Days-Chapman … it likely sets the stage that he will rule against Marty and La’Quetta Small next month.
An Atlantic County Grand Jury indicted Days-Chapman on August 17, 2024 on a variety of criminal charges as follows:
