10 South Jersey Halloween Attractions That Will Have You Screaming in 2026
Halloween season hits different in South Jersey.
Maybe it's the farm fields that stretch for miles in every direction. Maybe it's the Pine Barrens, with the legend of the Jersey Devil looming in the background. Maybe it's a century-old factory that just creeps you out.
Every fall, the southern half of the Garden State comes alive with haunted trails, creepy corn mazes, terrifying hayrides, and Halloween attractions that range from family-friendly to seriously frightening.
Whether you're looking for a haunted trail that winds through the woods, a hayride that ends with something jumping out of the dark, or an attraction the whole family can actually enjoy together, South Jersey has it covered.

We've put together 10 Halloween attractions across the region for 2026. Some will scare you. Some will make you laugh. And some might have you wondering why you ever agreed to go in the first place.
Pick your scare level and go...
Creamy Acres Night of Terror, Mullica Hill
Creamy Acres Night of Terror has become one of the biggest Halloween attractions in South Jersey, with a 100-acre park "inhabited by zombies, attack dogs, chainsaw-wielding maniacs and killer clowns."
One of the more unique parts of Creamy Acres is their Haunted Paintball Hayride, where visitors climb aboard a wagon and use paintball guns to defend against live actors dressed as zombies and moving props.
- Location: 448 Lincoln Mill Road, Mullica Hill
Terror in the Junkyard, Egg Harbor Township
Year after year, locals flock to the appropriately named Scullville section of Egg Harbor Township as the Scullville Volunteer Fire Company runs Terror in the Junkyard at Fleming's Junkyard, combining a haunted hayride through the woods and junkyard with the Maze of Terror.
Note: Sensory-friendly hayrides are available on select nights. There may be some scary images; however, there are no long lines, pop-outs, loud startling noises, or flashing lights.
- Location: Fleming’s Junkyard, 353 Zion Road, Egg Harbor Twp.
HallowSpire, Southampton
If you're in or around Burlington County, HallowSpire offers a very different experience from a traditional hayride.
HallowSpire features three very different attractions: the Jersey Devil Terror Trail, the 13th Acre Haunted Corn Maze and the Funland Forgotten Circus. The experience ranges from seriously scary to more family-friendly Halloween fun.
- Location: 231 Landing Street, Southampton
Miller's Haunted Farm, Winslow Township/Hammonton
For the past two decades, Miller's Haunted Farm on the western outskirts of Hammonton has scared visitors of all ages with two main attractions: The Haunted Woods, which is a one-mile trek through the woods with ten different themed areas, and The Haunted Maze, an indoor-style haunted house.
Beyond that, keep an eye out for dozens of live actors roaming the grounds and a wide variety of Halloween-themed activities.
- Location: 624 South Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton
Forever Forest Halloween Experience, Egg Harbor City
For much of the year, Forever Forest is a very quiet tree farm in Egg Harbor City. However, once Halloween gets closer, that innocent-looking farm takes on a completely different personality.
Ride their Trolley of Terror through the dark farm, face live scary actors, and follow a walking trail through eerie themed sets, haunted scenes, and "photo-worthy" Halloween moments.
During the day, stop by for all kinds of family-friendly fall fun -- or visit at night for a completely different experience.
- Location: 354 Bremen Avenue, Egg Harbor City
Fear in the Forest, Browns Mills
Voted one of the top five family-owned haunted events in New Jersey, Fear in the Forest is set on a working blueberry farm in Pemberton.
Open for just two nights each October, the experience features a haunted trail stretching more than half a mile through the woods, with multiple themed areas packed with scares and surprises.
After making your way down a dark dirt road through cranberry bogs and forest, you'll eventually reach the trail. Once you survive the woods, stick around for live music, food, and more Halloween atmosphere.
- Location (GPS): 1 Pasadena Road, Browns Mills
- Location (Physical): 182 City Line Road, Pemberton
The Haunting on High Street, Mount Holly
The Haunting on High Street is an all-new haunted event for the 2026 Halloween season at the Burlington County Prison Museum.

Brave the phantoms and phobias that haunt the halls of a prison that's over two centuries old. Continue the fun by joining a Spooktacular Halloween Hangout in the Courtyard filled with music, games, food trucks, roving entertainment, and more.
- Location: 128 High Street, Mount Holly
Ghoul Spring Village, Historic Cold Spring Village, Cape May
Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May becomes Ghoul Spring Village for several nights in October.
This attraction is much more family-friendly than others on this list. Visitors can walk through the historic village as it's transformed with Halloween scenes and costumed characters.
- Location: 733 Seashore Road, Cape May
The Conover Killings, Wall Township
Should you find yourself in Monmouth County, The Conover Killings is described as New Jersey's most immersive haunted trail experience. And they offer this warning: This is not a haunted house. This is a fully immersive trail through darkness, fear, and psychological terror.
Entry is limited. Once the gates close, no one gets in. And once you enter the woods, there is no turning back.
But just how scary is this attraction? Everyone entering must sign a waiver.
- Location: 3101 Hurley Pond Road, Wall Township
Ocean View Trail of Terror, Ocean View
The Ocean View Fire Company presents The Ocean View Trail of Terror: Asylum - 10 Years of Terror.
This haunted walk in the woods behind the firehouse on Route 9 is held on select weekends in October.
Their website features this simple comment: Is it Scary? YES!
- Location: 2545 Route 9, Ocean View
