Big News, Great News — Blue Angels Will Return To Atlantic City Airshow

Airshow fans have been waiting with great anticipation for this big news announcement.

The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angels want to return to the Atlantic City Airshow as soon as possible.

Yes, they had officially announced that Atlantic City is on the preliminary schedule for 2027. However, this date doesn’t work for Atlantic City.

Key 2027 Highlights:

• Spring: MCAS Beaufort, SC (April); Lakeland,
  FL (April); Fort Lauderdale, FL (May).
• Summer: Atlantic City, NJ (May); Traverse City, MI (July); Milwaukee, WI (July).
• Fall: San Francisco, CA (October); NAS Jacksonville, FL (October); MCAS Miramar, San Diego, CA (September); NAS Pensacola
• Homecoming (November).

NOTE: The Blue Angels wanted to return to the Atlantic City Airshow next year on May 29-30, 2027 … so much so that it’s actually on their preliminary schedule. However, this is during Memorial Day Weekend, one of the busiest weekends of the summer season and it would just be too much concentration at one time forte City of Atlantic City. So, the Visit Atlantic City Airshow had to regretfully decline. The goal is for The Blue Angels to return to the Atlantic City Airshow in 2028.

The Visit Atlantic City Airshow Returned In 2025 Following A One Year Absence

it returned without either the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, or, The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angels.

It was a great return engagement and effort, led by Gary Musich, President of Visit Atlantic City and his hard-working team.

For Atlantic City to get back the coveted Blue Angels. An airshow with The Blue Angels, and/or The Thunderbirds means hundreds of thousands of additional spectators.

Was one of the most epic airshows in history when both The Blue Angels and The Thunderbirds both performed in the same Atlantic City Airshow.
