
Boy Injured in Shooting on Atlantic City Expressway Sunday
A 13-year-old boy is recovering after being shot during a drive-by shooting on the Atlantic City Expressway before sunrise Sunday.
According to NJ.com, the boy was originally taken to ARMC-City for treatment but was later flown to Cooper Hospital in Camden in critical condition.
Published reports say the shots were fired from another vehicle which continued westbound on the Expressway near the interchange for the Garden State Parkway. WTFX-TV reports police found a car riddled with bullets near Exit 7.
Three other people in the vehicle were not injured.
Anyone who may have witnessed anything is asked to contact New Jersey State Police or Egg Harbor Township police.
