Bridgeton Man Charged with Vehicular Homicide

A 24-year-old Bridgeton man has been arrested and charged in connection to the death of 25-year-old Daryl Bowen in a car accident last year.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner says Irving Muse was arrested by Hamilton Township Police on Friday.

According to authorities, on December 20th of last year, Hamilton Township cops responded to the area of Millville and Wheeling Avenues for a report of a single-car collision. The front passenger, Bowen, died as a result of the crash.

A preliminary investigation revealed neither occupant was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. A further investigation revealed that the driver, Irving Muse, had been driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Muse is lodged at Atlantic County Justice Facility, pending a detention hearing scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th.
