Bridgeton Man Shot in Atlantic City Sunday Morning

Police say a man from Bridgeton is recovering after being shot early Sunday morning in Atlantic City.

ACPD officers responded to the Seawall located in the 800 block of New Hampshire Avenue around 12:30 Sunday morning for a report of a man shot, according to a press release. Officers received updated information that the victim, a 21-year-old man from Bridgeton, had been hit by gunfire and taken to ARMC-City for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation into the shooting is being led by the ACPD Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (609) 347-5766.
