
Burlington County, NJ, Man Arrested After Gunfire Hits Vehicle, Home
A Burlington County man has been arrested in connection with a shooting last week.
Gunfire Reported on York Street
The Burlington City Police Department says last Tuesday, January 20th, at around 4 PM, their officers were called to the 500 block of York Street for a report of gunfire.
An investigation revealed that multiple gunshots had been fired, hitting both a vehicle and a home. No injuries were reported.
Following a thorough joint investigation by that department at the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, 21-year-old Deaundra Collins, Jr., was identified as the suspect.
Charges Filed Against Deaundra Collins, Jr.
This past Tuesday, Collins was arrested and he is facing aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun without a permit, and certain persons not to possess a firearm charges.
He is currently being held in the Burlington County Jail pending court proceedings.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
