Detectives in Camden County are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at a shopping center parking lot over the weekend.

Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez say just before 4:00 Sunday afternoon, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 2700 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue in Camden.

There, in a shopping center parking lot, cops found 31-year-old Kadeem McBride of Sicklerville with multiple gunshot wounds.

McBride was taken to Cooper Hospital where he died from his injures about three hours later.
