This is not exactly a topic that was pressed on your mind as soon as you woke up this morning, but it is pretty interesting. New Jersey's absolute favorite salad dressing has been revealed.

There are a lot of things we worry about and should be worrying about here in New Jersey, and salad dressing is not among them. But now that the question has been posed, don't you really want to know the answer?

I know what you're thinking. This is New Jersey, so it has to be either Vinigarette, Creamy Italian or Caesar's, right?

There's one way to find out, and that's to check with The Takeout, a website that has that type of information ready and waiting for us.

They have determined, after extensive study of the situation, that the top salad dressing in the Garden State is Catalina.

Catalina? That's kind of like French dressing, right? It's actually a combination of olive oil, vinegar, ketchup, and sugar, along with seasoning, and it's apparently the top choice for New Jersey residents.

I'm not sure about this one. Most people I know go with the balsamic, the house dressing at their favorite restaurant, or maybe even the ranch.

Honesty, I don't think I've ever heard one person order a salad with Catalina dressing, but I guess we buy a lot of it at the supermarket.

Either way, I think a lot of us will stick with our ranch and be happy with it. At least we're eating healthy salads. Good for us!
