Ocean City, N.J. — If you're looking for something fun and free to do this summer, head down to Ocean City on a Monday night for an incredible drone show over the boardwalk.

I had a chance to do that this past Monday night, and it certainly did not disappoint.

The "America 250: Lights Over Ocean City Drone Show" celebrates the 250th anniversary of our nation, and it runs through August 24th.

The show features hundreds of drones lighting up the sky and creating animations that salute America -- and things that have made Ocean City famous, like pizza.

The 15-minute shows begin around 9 PM and the best viewing spots are pretty much anywhere along the boardwalk between 6th Street and the Music Pier.

This weekly event is made possible thanks to a $25,000 grant from the Cape May County Board of Commissioners, along with support from numerous Boardwalk merchants and city funding.
