Officials in Cape May County reported only two new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

According to the Cape May County Herald, one new case was reported in Lower Township and the other was from Ocean City.

The Herald also reports two-thirds of all cases in Cape May County are now considered to be recovered.

The county now stands at 639 COVID-19 cases with 49 deaths. On Monday, officials announced the death of a 90-year-old woman from Lower Township.

In a press release, Cape May County Freeholder Jeff Pierson said, "Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow for another loss of life in Cape May County. My heart goes out to the friends and family at this difficult time."
