Atlantic City Police say nine people were arrested Monday afternoon after they allegedly entered a woman’s home and held her at gunpoint.

According to authorities, at around 2:00 officers responded to the 500 block of North Ohio Avenue. Arriving officers found the victim, a 54-year-old woman from Atlantic City, had escaped unharmed and seven men and two women who entered her home without permission were still inside.

Cops say several suspects attempted to flee from the back of the home but they ran back inside after seeing officers. Eventually all nine people were placed in custody and a loaded gun was recovered from inside the home.

The ACPD says the following adults were charged with burglary, conspiracy, employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a hollow-point ammunition, criminal restraint, and violation of executive stay-at-home order:

  • Raymond Fitzgerald, a 26-year-old man from Somers Point
  • Autumn Jones, a 20-year-old woman from Atlantic City
  • Tyrone Ford, a 19-year-old man from Atlantic City
  • Theron Parrish-Jordan, a 20-year-old man from Mays Landing
  • Aaron Vaulx, a 20-year-old man from Vineland

The five adults were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

The following juveniles were charged with burglary, conspiracy, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a hollow-point ammunition, criminal restraint, and violation of executive stay-at-home order:

  • A 16-year-old female from Vineland
  • A 17-year-old male from Atlantic City
  • A 16-year-old male from Atlantic City
  • A 17-year-old male from Mays Landing

The four juveniles were remanded to the Harborfields Detention Facility.
