Two 17-year-old men are facing charges after Atlantic City police say they stabbed a man Wednesday afternoon.

Cops say around 2:15 PM Wednesday, officers responded to the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a stabbing. A nearby officer quickly arrived at the scene and saw several men in an altercation, according to a press release. The victim, a 58-year-old man from Atlantic City, sustained stab wounds. Two other men, both 17-years-old, fled but were eventually caught. Cops say a knife was recovered in a parking lot after it was discarded.

The victim was transported to ARMC-City for treatment.injuries.

Both teens were charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, and conspiracy. One of the two was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Both were remanded to Harborfields Detention Facility.
