Cumberland County Man Indicted for First Degree Drug Induced Death Charge
A Bridgeton man has been indicted on a first degree drug induced death charge in connection to the death of 31-year-old David King of Wildwood in the sumnmer of 2017.
Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Wildwood Police Chief Robert Regalbuto say Sean W. Tatem of Bridgeton was charged based on an investigation into the death of King, who was found unresponsive in his home on on August 25, 2017, and died six days later at Cooper Medical Center.
Sutherland's office says Tatem was arrested in Darlington County, SC, where he waived extradition on July 26th of this year.
The Cape May County Prosecutor's Office says an individual charged with a first degree crime can be sentenced to a term of 10 to 20 years in state prison.
