Maybe, the deer who tried to break into an elementary school in South Jersey is just a doe who wants to get her education on.

The deer, which appears to be a fawn and very young, was caught on camera head-butting a door at C.B. Lamb Elementary School in Wrightstown, Burlington County last Thursday night.

The school's principal passed along video to 6abc.com.

The deer seemed undeterred after one attempt, and keep at it to no avail. Who knows if it was lost, hungry, trying to escape danger, looking to rent a library book. The school did not report any damage from the incident and, luckily, the deer did not appear to be injured.
