Demolition Days at the GSP Forked River Rest Area

If you haven't passed by the Forked River Rest Area on the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 74 in Ocean County, then you have been missing "demo days" at the complex.

The former service area is being demolished and a new rest area will be constructed.

Keep in mind if you travel the Garden State Parkway that there is no gas, food, or restrooms between the Atlantic City Service Station and the Monmouth Rest Area.

The new Forked River location is set to be rebuilt and open by Memorial Day Weekend 2020.
