Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Camden that happened Friday afternoon.

Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez say officers responded to the intersection of Jackson and Warsaw Streets around 3:30 PM and found 28-year-old Lamont Demby of Camden who was suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

Authorities say Demby was taken to Cooper University Hospital where we was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later.
