The State of New Jersey says the Motor Vehicle Commission office in Cardiff/Egg Harbor Township is closing due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

No details were provided except for what was in a one sentence statement posted on both the NJMVC Facebook page and their website:

CARDIFF LICENSING CENTER is closed and will reopen on Wednesday, October 28 due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

The announcement of the Cardiff/Egg Harbor Township office closing comes just after state officials closed the office in Manahawkin for the same reason. That location is set to reopen on November 2nd.

Elsewhere in South Jersey, the NJMVC vehicle center in Runnemede, Camden County, also remains closed and will reopen on Monday, October 26th, again, due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

Before venturing to a Motor Vehicle Commission office, you are strongly urged to check their website for the very latest information on closures and service delays.
