There are three heroes in this story: Egg Harbor Township Police Officer Brett Fair, Egg Harbor Township Police Officer Patrick Daly, and Atlantic City Police Officer Martina Martin.

They risked their lives Saturday to save a woman trapped under water in her car following an auto accident on Route 40.

The three officers were able to pull the woman from the submerged car and bring her to dry land. A fourth officer, Egg Harbor Township Police Officer Katie Cantel (*also a hero) was able to aid in performing emergency CPR until paramedics arrived.

According to police, "The woman was revived after the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, where she is currently in critical condition."
