Egg Harbor Township Police Identify Body Found Near Walmart
A dead body was found yesterday morning, (Monday, January 17, 2022) near the Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Walmart Department Store. Police have released a new statement regarding the identity of the body.
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department public statement reads:
On Monday, January 17, 2022, at approximately 7:21 AM, the Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the eastbound shoulder of the Black Horse Pike in the area of the Oak Tree Plaza, in the Farmington section of the township, for an unconscious and
unresponsive subject.Upon arriving , Officers located an obviously deceased male victim in a grassy area adjacent to the roadway.
The victim has been identified as Joseph Richardson 2nd, 42 years of age of Landisville, NJ. There we no obvious signs of foul play, however, the investigation is still ongoing in order to determine a cause of death.
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department investigation is being conducted by Detectives Michael Santoro, Richard Vogt, and Katrina Cantell of the Egg Harbor Township Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau.
