Hurley in the Morning has obtained a letter written by Atlantic City Business Administrator Arch Liston regarding layoffs in Atlantic City.

Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian removed any and all doubt, when he confirmed live on-the-air last week on "Hurley in the Morning," that the City has promised to make no staffing cuts within the fire department, during the life of a federal grant for more than $ 21.8 million.

Hurley in the Morning has confirmed that if approved, this federal "Safer Grant" will save 85 jobs through September 26, 2017.

Harry Hurley has obtained a copy of a letter (pictured below) written by Atlantic City Business Administrator Arch Liston on June 10, 2015.

Now you know why the professional firefighters didn't think the city complied with the FEMA requirement (guaranteeing no layoffs).

It's one of the craziest, and, intentionally sneaky letters I've ever read. I've read it several times. It's hard to process what these carefully parsed words even mean.

#JustSayWhatYouMean

Read this letter and you'll know why I don't trust Arch Liston.
