Former Vineland Man Sentenced to 30 Years for Sexually Assaulting Children

Vineland, N.J. — A man who formerly lived in Vineland has been sentenced to 30 years in state prison for sexually assaulting children and producing child sexual abuse material.
On Friday, 26-year-old Christopher Singletary was sentenced following a guilty plea that was entered in May.
Investigation Began With a Cyber Tip
According to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office, the case began on November 18th, 2025, when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children forwarded a tip to them. Investigators moved quickly, and the following day, they charged Singletary with numerous offenses that involved three juvenile victims.
A grand jury indicted Singletary in February on two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, three counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child by manufacturing child sexual abuse material, and related charges.
Guilty Plea and Sentence
Singletary pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Under the terms of the plea, the two first-degree counts run concurrently, carrying 25 years of parole ineligibility under the Jessica Lunsford Act. The third-degree count runs consecutively, adding five more years, for a total of three decades; he must serve 25 years before becoming eligible for parole.
Upon release, Singletary will be subject to parole supervision for life, Megan's Law registration, and sex offender restraining orders protecting all three victims.
The case was investigated by Det. Kyle Mecouch of the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office ICAC Unit and prosecuted by Assistant Prosecutor Holly Fanelle.
