Free Programs Available For Eligible Atlantic City, NJ Residents

Mayor Marty Small is preparing to launch “Great Day University” in the City of Atlantic City, New Jersey.

What Is “Great Day University” In Atlantic City?

It is a series of financial education programs that are being made available for free for eligible Atlantic City residents.

The stated goal is to empower Atlantic City residents with education and resources to improve their financial future.

“Great Day University” Program Details

Registration is now open for three programs:

Financial Planning Foundations for residents ages 18-35.
Advanced Financial Planning for residents ages 35 and older.
Credit Empowerment Program open to eligible Atlantic City residents.

The Atlantic City “Great Day University” financial planning programs are structured to be eight-week hybrid courses that will cover topics including:

Budgeting, increasing income, credit, investing, retirement, healthcare and estate planning.

The 20-week Credit Empowerment Program will focus on focuses understanding, repairing and building credit.

This is an opportunity to give our residents the tools to succeed by helping them take control of their finances. We gear the curriculum to meet our residents where they are in life and help them move forward. This is another example of the Small Administration investing in our community and making a difference in the lives of the people, said Mayor Small.
