
17-year-old Struck by Vehicle in Galloway Township Sunday Night
Galloway Township, N.J. — A 17-year-old was struck by a vehicle while crossing Wrangleboro Road Sunday evening and was hospitalized with serious injuries.
According to the Galloway Township Police Department, 40-year-old Horatio Hibbert of Atlantic City was traveling northbound on Wrangleboro Road and navigating the curve near Navesink Drive. As his vehicle approached the crosswalk, it struck the juvenile, who was crossing the roadway.
The juvenile suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Galloway Township Police Department Traffic Unit.

Authorities remind pedestrians to remain vigilant while walking on or near roadways. Pedestrians should wear bright or reflective clothing, cross only at designated crosswalks or intersections, use sidewalks whenever available, and walk facing oncoming traffic when a sidewalk is not provided.
