Get Ready for the First 2017 Wildwood Beach Concert

We've waited all year for the announcement of Wildwood's first beach concert of the summer season, and here it is!

According to the Press of Atlantic City, get ready to head back to the decade of the 80's as "Rockin in the 80's" will hit the beach in Wildwood on Saturday, August 19th.

The first summer beach concert will feature a big dose of funk with the band War who gave us such classic as "Low Rider" and "Cisco Kid". Also on the bill will be rock band Asia and former Journey lead singer Steve Augeri.

Wildwood hoped to book 7 beach concerts for the summer of 2017 but were hampered by the promoter of the Atlantic City beach concerts due to the proximity of Wildwood and Atlantic City.
